Animall - Product Manager

India is the largest livestock economy in the world. With almost one-third of Indian households relying on dairy farming as a means of income, Animall aims to be the operating system of the $250 Billion dairy farming industry by building a one-stop shop for anything and everything cattle. Animall app empowers dairy farmers across Bharat (India) to start their own farms by gaining access to quality cattle efficiently and quickly.

With millions of transactions each month, we continue to re-imagine and re-engineer the dairy ecosystem in India, and each team member will have significant ownership of the key components that go into this mission!

Company Metrics -

Till now, Animall has primarily focused on building a peer-to-peer cattle trading platform and the journey of Animall has been very encouraging and promising - we have reached more than 10 million dairy farmers within a short span of 3 years. More than 500,000 cattle have been sold through Animall which amounts to 1500 Crore Rs of GTV and is now at a monthly run rate of 320 Crore Rs GTV. Our dairy farmers have rated us 4.7 out of 5.

About Role -

We have observed that more than 40% of our users are dependent on informal credit to finance their cattle purchase. We plan to build an embedded-lending platform within Animall where we can provide formal credit to our users through partnership with banks / NBFCs / financial institutions.

Three Main Pillars To Build This Vertical

• Building a robust lead generation engine using our app data or by partnering with dairy farmers touch-points (milk co-operatives, milk collection centres, feed players) -
• Building core-underwriting algorithm on the back of our own data points
• Building strong collection infrastructure

• Experience in developing products related to loans and insurance
• Experience of structured problem solving in 0 - 1 phase
• Product Experience (specially if you have handled funnels - in an end to end way)
• Have managed a pod - with designer and engineers, ideated, executed and analysed experiments
• Collaborating with x-functional teams ( marketing, business), understanding their needs and productising
• Experience of on-ground hustle and user interviews
• Good profile would have 2-4 yrs of work experience, wont require a daily basis managerial intervention, can manage a pod of 3-4 people.
