Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager | Startup Cofounder

About You:

Engineering Leads joining our Residency play an instrumental role as Co-founders. As a key member of the founding team, youll be responsible for driving the tech and product side of the business. To excel in this role, you should be:

• Passionate about Technology: You identify as a tech professional with deep expertise in building and shaping innovative software products and platforms.
• Experienced Builder: You have extensive experience as a Software Developer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a proven track record of building successful products
• Problem Solver: You possess exceptional analytical skills, are adept at breaking down complex issues, and can bring structure to business cases.
• Proven Leader: You’ve led teams of developers or technical product managers, guiding them to deliver high-quality results with a clear vision.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You have the grit, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit needed to build a business that creates meaningful impact.

• Have an idea (Optional): You may already have an idea for a problem youre passionate about solving about and looking for co-founders who share your vision and values.

The Antler Founder Residency:

• The residency runs for 10 weeks, full-time, in-person in Dubai.
• During the residency, you will ideate, validate your ideas and find your co-founder(s) from a cohort of 70-90 founders.
• You will have access to functional experts and dedicated coaches that will help you with your problem-market fit.
• At the end of the 10 weeks, you will present your business idea to the Antler Investment Committee. If accepted, you will receive a pre-seed investment of $180,000 for 11% equity, and join Antler’s portfolio.
• As an Antler portfolio company, you will receive personalized coaching from our partners and access our global network of advisors and talent to help you scale.

We welcome first-time founders, serial entrepreneurs and early-stage startups to Antler in MENAP.
