GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

This role is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, providing operational oversight, stakeholder management, and delivery governance for client due diligence questionnaire support activities. The individual will be accountable for team performance, service delivery, process excellence, and ensuring a high-quality stakeholder experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

The role supports the end-to-end management of client due diligence questionnaires across the organization, including intake, coordination with subject matter experts, response consolidation, stakeholder communication, and timely delivery of completed submissions. Success in this role requires strong leadership, ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive outcomes through influence and effective coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The colleague is responsible for leading a team that provides high-quality operational support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and adherence to service, quality, and governance standards through the following responsibilities:

  • Drive accountability for team deliverables, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs, quality standards, and governance requirements.
  • Manage centralized intake and workflow processes, managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination, tracking, and timely execution across multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and effectively manage stakeholder expectations, communications, and escalations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Privacy, Compliance, Security, ESG, Legal, and business partners.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and influence stakeholders to drive timely outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team by providing regular feedback, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor workload distribution, prioritize requests, remove operational bottlenecks, and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Analyze operational metrics, prepare management reports, and provide insights on volumes, turnaround times, SLA adherence, and team performance.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Preferred knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, privacy, security, ESG, or related business functions.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and exceptional stakeholder experience.
  • Preferred experience in handling a team of 15-20
  • Collaborate with peers at Aon to deliver high quality work and enhance personal effectiveness through training, education and coaching.

SKILLS

  • Any Graduate
  • No Technical Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) and No Regular Postgraduate (MBA/MCA/MA/M.Sc/M.Tech)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in project management and client service
  • Advanced business communication skills (email and conference calls) and interpersonal abilities. Should be able to communicate thoughts and ideas verbally coherently and confidently, nonverbally and in writing.
  • Should be flexible, keen on taking initiatives, accountable, have a collaborative approach with fellow colleagues, self motivator, and leadership qualities.
  • Quality orientation and eye for details
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel (Multiple Lookups, Pivot Table/Pivot Chart Report and creating charts), PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytical thinking
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with data privacy, risk, security, compliance, and ESG topics will be an added advantage
