Regional Business Manager Micro LAP & Affordable Housing Loan
Location: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
Grade: (Based on Experience)
Function: Retail Assets
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Revenue Management:
- Drive regional business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Achieve disbursement, sourcing, and portfolio growth targets for Micro LAP and Affordable Housing Loan products.
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.
- Ensure sustainable growth while maintaining profitability and portfolio quality.

Team Leadership & People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Area Managers, Cluster Managers, and Sales Managers across the region.
- Drive productivity, engagement, and performance management of the sales team.
- Build a high-performance culture through regular coaching and field visits.
Channel & Distribution Management:
- Strengthen sourcing through DSA, Connector, Builder, and Branch Banking channels.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and distribution partnerships in the region.
Portfolio & Risk Management:
- Ensure healthy portfolio quality by monitoring delinquency, bounce rates, and collection efficiency.
- Work closely with Credit, Operations, Risk, and Collections teams to improve portfolio performance.
- Drive adherence to underwriting and compliance guidelines.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Product, Marketing, and HR teams to ensure seamless business execution.
- Coordinate with regional and corporate teams for process improvements and business enhancements.
- Represent the bank in industry forums and customer interactions.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Provide feedback to Product and Business teams for product enhancement and process optimization.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM preferred.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in Retail Assets, Housing Finance, Affordable Housing, LAP, Mortgage, or Secured Lending.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading a regional business team.
- Proven track record of delivering business growth and managing large teams.
- Strong understanding of Affordable Housing Loans, Micro LAP, Credit, Collections, and Distribution Management.
