Financial Controller

What role you will play in team: Oversee all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for Bajaj Energy, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage a team of accountants and provide financial guidance to the business.

What you will do: You will lead the monthly close process, prepare financial statements, manage financial risk, and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibility:

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Manage a team of accountants and provide guidance on financial matters.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
