Role Description The CLUSTER HEAD RECOVERY is a full-time, on-site role based in Habra, responsible for leading and overseeing recovery operations across an assigned cluster of branches. The role involves monitoring delinquent accounts, designing and implementing recovery strategies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines. The individual will guide and support branch teams in executing recovery processes, conduct regular portfolio reviews, and coordinate with legal and collections teams as needed. Daily activities include analysing recovery performance, preparing reports for senior management, visiting branches and customer locations, and ensuring that customer interactions are ethical, professional, and aligned with the Banks values. The role also focuses on improving recovery efficiency, minimizing non-performing assets, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships within the region.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in loan recovery, collections management, and portfolio monitoring, with the ability to design and implement effective recovery strategies.
• Proficiency in credit risk assessment, delinquency analysis, and use of MIS/reporting tools to track recovery performance and identify trends.
• Knowledge of relevant banking regulations, legal recovery processes, and compliance requirements related to retail and MSME lending.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and supervise branch recovery teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with a customer-centric and ethical approach to recovery.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, with capacity to manage field visits, stakeholder coordination, and time-bound recovery targets.
• Minimum graduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services in recovery, collections, or credit operations, ideally at a regional or cluster leadership level.
• Comfort with working on-site in Habra, with readiness for regular travel within the assigned cluster and flexibility to work towards strict timelines
