Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview.

The ALS (Advanced Loan System) Applications team handles multiple critical mainframe applications for mortgage and vehicle servicing and fulfillment. The team is responsible for maintaining these applications while also working on mainframe modernization projects and several critical business-driven initiatives. A qualified candidate will be part of a dedicated agile team supporting these critical mainframe applications.

The role involves handling multiple and simultaneous activities and priorities, including application development, enhancements, and support for system issues. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to interpret business partners goals and translate them into effective technology solutions that exceed business needs. Experience with recognized Agile project management tool JIRA.

Responsibilities.

• Support and maintain critical mainframe applications for home loans fulfillment application
• Lead India team in development of technology solutions for Major initiatives
• Participate in design and provide solutions for strategic initiatives
• Take ownership and drive execution of application development, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with CIO partners to understand major initiatives, critical projects and prioritize deliverables from India team
• Ensure code quality through reviews and unit testing.
• Manage Build & CI pipeline tools and design end-to-end CI/CD workflows.
• Utilize structured project management methodologies, including Agile, and tools like JIRA.

• Requirements
• Education.

• Graduation / Post Graduation

• Experience Range.
• 15+ years

Foundational skills.

• 15+ years of development experience with COBOL, VSAM, DB2, JCL, Eztrieve, CA-7, and Assembly language.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in CICS.
• 10+ years of experience with setting up MQs and CICS Webservice Integration with midrange platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in API development using Z/OS, exposing REST APIs
• 6+ years of experience with code quality, code review, static analysis, and unit test tools.
• Experience in Build & CI pipeline management tools, including designing and executing CI/CD workflows.
• 6+ years of experience with Endeavor or ISPW code management tools.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools like JIRA.

Desired skills.

• Mortgage Domain Knowledge and working experience in delivery of Mortgage Fulfillment projects
