Account Manager

Company Description Barbrik Transformers is a Raipur-based unit of ABC Transformers that specializes in designing, manufacturing, and repairing distribution, power, solar, and furnace transformers up to 50 MVA and 132kV. Role Description The Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The individual in this role will manage client accounts in the transformer and electrical equipment sector, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding customer requirements, coordinating with engineering, production, and service teams, and ensuring timely delivery and after-sales support. The Account Manager will prepare proposals, quotations, and contract documents, track order status, and monitor account performance and profitability. The role also involves resolving client issues, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, preparing regular reports, and supporting business development activities in the region.

Qualifications

• Strong client relationship management skills, including account planning, stakeholder communication, and negotiation.
• Experience in sales or account management in engineering, electrical, power, or industrial equipment sectors is highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms related to transformers or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for account performance tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing multiple accounts and meeting deadlines.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of the transformer market, power distribution processes, or industrial utilities is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
