Objectives of the Position:
Project Management competencies

• As a core member of the Project Management Team, he/she should be responsible for achieving the targets regarding cost, schedule, scope and safety (including EHS requirements)
• As focal point of responsibility coordinate, monitor & control all Project Management related activities
• Support preparing Project approval documents for Pre-, Initial, Final Approval and Project Revision and provide needed content and presentations.
• Together with the Project Manager and Project Execution Owner, prepare and update the project execution strategy, project organization, staffing and time schedule.
• To be able to prepare all the documentation required for statutory licensing requirements like factory inspectorate license, PESO license, Lifting tools and tackles licenses etc..
• Ensure that the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and Start-up concept is developed for the project.

• Assure Risk Management throughout project lifetime.
• Ensure the implementation / follow-up of Project Requirements during planning and project Execution Phase
• Arrange and co-ordinate Steering committee Meetings and Project meeting with relevant stake holders
• Support the supervisor during development of project management plans, scope management plans, schedule management plans etc..
• Execute the projects with resources plan, team development, procurement plan, schedule plan, quality plan, project communication plans, implementing risk responses and managing stake holders engagements.
• Monitor and control project works with validation of scopes, integrated change controls, schedule controls, cost controls, quality controls, resource controls, procurement controls.
• Close out the projects with all the documents and deliverables are up-to-date with all the issues resolved, closing projects accounts, lesson learnt documents, formal acceptance of the projects by the stakeholders.
  

Core Engineering Competencies

• Experienced with the installation and commissioning of process equipment like, reactors, heat exchangers, Sand mills, High speed dissolvers, Boilers, Thermic fluid heaters, industrial HVAC system, Laboratory equipment like fume hoods, industrial ovens, warehouse racking system,
• Experienced with installation and commissioning of process and utilities piping system, fire hydrant system.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical
• Working Experience:
• 10-12 years in brown field projects in paint/chemical/process industries.
• Need to have experience of handling multi-disciplinary team of more than 3 people at least for 4-5 years.
• Need to have experience of interacting with mechanical vendors.
• Need to have experience of handling Mechanical contractors, Civil contractors.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Mechanical engineer by profession, need to have good safety and quality system knowledge, Basic knowledge on Civil, Electrical and instrumentation engineering, knowledge of Working with the creative multidisciplinary team.
