Finance Controller - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end finance and accounting operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial statements, management reports, and plant performance dashboards.
• Drive plant budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital, CAPEX, and operating expenses.
• Ensure accurate accounting and timely closure of monthly and annual books.
• Ensure monthly book closing and timely finalisation of financial records.
• Roll out MIS by the 7th of the following month, including Business Unit - wise / P&L - wise profitability, working capital, and balance sheet details.
• Manage statutory compliance, audits, taxation, internal controls, and financial governance.
• Partner with Plant Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Business teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor inventory valuation, provisions for obsolete/slow-moving stock, and reconciliation of key accounts.
• Ensure effective implementation and utilisation of SAP for finance and plant-related processes.
• Identify financial risks, strengthen internal controls, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Plant and Business leadership for informed decision-making.
