Product Manager - Platforms

We are looking for a Platform Product Manager to build reusable platform capabilities that power multiple lending products as part of Airtel Financial Services unit. Rather than owning a single customer journey, this role will create shared infrastructure, services and platform components that improve speed, experience and consistency across product portfolio - Personal Loans, Gold Loans, Business Loans, Credit Cards, EMI Cards and other products.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the platform roadmap for reusable lending capabilities.
• Build common services that can be leveraged across multiple products.
• Partner with product teams to identify and prioritize capabilities that should be centralized instead of being built individually.
• Work closely with Engineering, Risk, Fraud, Data Science and Operations to build scalable platform solutions.
• Ensure platform capabilities are configurable, reusable and easy to integrate.

• Measure platform impact through product adoption and business outcomes.
• Examples of capabilities include Selfie liveness and face verification platform, UPI Mandate platform, Consent management, Rule engine etc.

Success Metrics

• Adoption of platform capabilities across product teams
• Impact of shipped capabilities – measurement and improvement monitoring
• Improved platform reliability and performance
• Reusability of capabilities across PL, GL, BL, Credit Card, EMI Card and future products.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of Product Management experience in fintech or platform products
• Experience building APIs, platforms and shared services
• Strong systems thinking and ability to solve problems at scale
• Technical understanding of APIs, backend systems and platform architecture
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to use data and customer insights to identify platform opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and measure impact.
