Manager - Statutory Audit (Banking)

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Manager in the Financial Service Audit team. In this team, your responsibilities will include leading a team of experienced professionals, perform reviews and work on Audit engagements of international KPMG teams and Financial Service and/or international clients. In addition, you will be required to:

• Auditing and in charging complex sections of the financial statements of companies or end to end audit as per country specific statutory requirements.
• Prepare and present audit workpapers, document audit procedures and audit findings.
• Identify issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved.
• Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and perform and supervise in audit procedures.
• Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement.
• Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
• Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as well as KRC.
• Qualifications
• This role is for you if you have the below:
• Educational qualifications
• Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)
• Work experience
• The candidate must have 5+ years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big4 accounting.
