Job Description
Position
- Role: Business Finance – Costing & Working Capital
- Location: Pune (HO) + Travel to Biomass Banks
- Reporting to: Head of Finance / CFO
Role Objective
Drive ₹/MT profitability, working capital efficiency, and cost control across biomass banks by building a ground-up cost model and enabling real-time decision-making.
Business Context
- Inventory-heavy model (4–6 months cycle)
- High working capital deployment
- Offtake dependency (large buyers)
- Multi-location operations with cost leakages
Key Responsibilities
- Build ₹/MT profitability model
- Own biomass bank-level P&L
- Analyse working capital cost
- Track inventory ageing and losses
- Drive cost optimisation with operations
- Deliver MIS and dashboards
Key Deliverables
- ₹/MT profitability dashboard
- Location-wise P&L
- Inventory carrying cost analysis
- Working capital model
- Cost reduction roadmap
Candidate Profile
- CMA qualified
- 3–7 years experience
- Strong Excel modelling
- Experience in logistics / commodity businesses preferred
