Project Manager-AI

2. JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage AI projects within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the successful delivery of AI initiatives for strategic project management office.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead and manage AI projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define project requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management/Strategic project management office .
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI development and deployment.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative project environment, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions.
• Manage project documentation, including Business case, Budget, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

5. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

• Experience in the banking domain with a great understanding of Azure AI platform, Azure open Search , GPT , cloud architecture, and risk management.
• Moderate understanding of corporate banking, channels, as well as retail banking.
• Knowledge on AI frameworks
• Knowledge of Data warehouse , Data privacy and ethical considerations in AI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

6. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in AI or technology-related projects within the banking domain.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
