Design & Digital Technology Teacher

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Deliver engaging and concept-driven instruction in MYP Design and DP Digital Society/Technology.
• Implement the IB Design Cycle and guide students through digital and product-based projects.
• Integrate technology tools such as Python, Scratch, Arduino, TinkerCAD, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Facilitate student inquiry, innovation, and independent learning through real-world challenges.
• Evaluate student progress through authentic assessments, design journals, and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty on curriculum planning and implementation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and portfolios in alignment with IB standards.
• Participate in IB-accredited training and contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional learning.

**Candidate Requirements:**

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, with at least one year of IB MYP or DP experience (mandatory).
• Proficiency in design thinking, digital tools, and educational technology.
• Strong understanding of IB frameworks including ATL skills and global contexts.
• IB training or certification in MYP Design and/or DP Digital Society is an advantage.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
