Position Overview:
The Exec - Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted facility operations at the Blue Dart
Centre, including power, water, and infrastructure management. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, contingency
planning, and upkeeping the workplace environment to support business continuity and employee safety.
Job Purpose:
To ensure reliable and safe operations of all facility services by implementing robust maintenance practices, monitoring
utilities, and proactively addressing risks. The role supports zero downtime, compliance with safety standards, and
readiness with contingency measures to safeguard business operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Facility Operations

• Ensure 100% availability of power and water supply with appropriate genset backup.
• Track and manage consumption data for utilities.
• Maintain records of stock, equipment, and facility usage.
  

Preventive & Planned Maintenance

• Carry out regular system health checks and planned maintenance as per schedule.
• Ensure preventive actions are implemented to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely upkeep.
  

Business Continuity & Safety

• Develop and implement contingency plans for critical services (power, lifts, water).
• Maintain high standards of safety and security to ensure zero fire/incident reports at the Centre.
• Conduct routine inspections to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  

Facility Upkeep

• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain facility equipment, tools, and stock levels.
• Support operational readiness of the Centre to avoid disruptions.
  

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs and consumption reports.
• Provide updates on incidents, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and audit requirements.
  

EMS

• Ensure that EMS is properly implemented and that environmental matters are properly handled at all stages
• The incumbent should be ISO 14001 :2015 trained or has a good awareness about Environmental initiatives/ ESG
• Should have knowledge about Environment related Authorized vendor
• Must be able to bring cost effective environmental solutions
  

Qualifications & Experience:
Education

• Candidate Must be ITI /NCVT - Electrician
• PWD License holder
• Basic Computer course
  

Experience

• Building Operation Maintenance/Facility Management Industry relevant experience
• Candidate Must be with 1-3 Years experience in maintenance field, trouble shooting of MEP ,AC services. Multi
  

skilled Technician for repair & maintenance.

• They perform periodic quality checks on all equipment and systems to ensure they are up to standards.
• Basic Computer Knowledge for email /Excel, MS Word, etc.
  

Skills & Capabilities:
Technical Skills

• Candidate Must have experience in maintenance field, trouble shooting of MEP services.
• PWD License Holder
• Basic Computer Knowledge for email /Excel, MS Word, etc.
