Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rooms to lead our operations team. The ideal candidate will have a background in housekeeping, extensive knowledge of front office, reservations, and revenue management, and prior experience with Oberoi hotels, including completion of their OCLD program. Middle East work experience is preferred to understand the unique dynamics of our primary markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general operations of the business, including Revenue, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Engineering.
• Lead and mentor Operations Managers in each region, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve and maintain a 93% guest review score across all platforms, with a minimum 60% guest review participation.
• Manage revenue channels to ensure no individual channel contributes more than 25% of total net rental income, promoting revenue diversification.
• Achieve and exceed a 95% mystery shopper review score, reflecting exceptional service and guest experiences.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality standards across all operational areas, ensuring the luxury status of our properties.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Guest Review Score (93%+ across all platforms)
2. Revenue Channel Diversification (<25% contribution from any single channel)
3. Mystery Shopper Review Score (>95%)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality management, with a strong emphasis on Rooms Division operations.
• Completion of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) program.
• Extensive knowledge of housekeeping, front office, reservations, and revenue management.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East, with a deep understanding of the regional market.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
