Job Description
- As a Web Developer at BNP Paribas India Solutions, your main responsibility will be to implement a complete user interface for a web application with a focus on usability, flexible configuration, and performance. You will work with a team of front and back-end developers to create modules and components for Risk business users. Your duties will include developing HTML templates, animations, CSS, and final HTML output. Here are your key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and unit test the required solution following BNP Paribas best practices, standards, and tools.
- Translate requirements into solutions and provide estimates for work.
- Keep track of updates on status and estimates to complete tasks.
- Participate in peer group code reviews and identify risks and issues.
- Prototype solutions quickly to validate new concepts.
- Ensure high performance in a multi-browser environment.
- Write testable, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Work on UI design, HTML layout, and JavaScript coding in collaboration with back-end developers.
- Communicate effectively with web services.
In addition to your direct responsibilities, you are expected to have deep knowledge of Angular 16+ with ECMA Script 6+, commonly used JavaScript tooling, and proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. You should be able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components, and have extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects. Here are some additional competencies required for this role:
- Hands-on experience with Angular 16+ (with ECMA Script 6+)
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML 5 & CSS3

- Strong software coding, documentation, and analysis skills
- Familiarity with basic Unix Skills
- Good understanding of Git commands
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline, especially Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
