Senior Account Executive

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, maintain accurate financial records, and support the organizations financial health. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and Indian taxation regulations.

• Key Responsibilities-
• · Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and maintaining accurate books of accounts.
• · Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of customer, vendor, and bank accounts.

· Ensure statutory compliance by maintaining GST and TDS records, assisting in return filings, coordinating with Chartered Accountants, and adhering to applicable Indian accounting regulations.

· Prepare financial reports and MIS, support month-end and year-end closing activities, maintain financial documentation, and provide accurate reports to management.

· Monitor banking and expense management, including bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, employee reimbursements, expense verification, and payment scheduling.

· Support inventory accounting and financial controls by assisting with inventory reconciliation, maintaining accurate financial records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting processes.

• Required Skills-
• · 2 years of experience as an Account Executive or Accountant.
• · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• · Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• · Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar accounting software.
• · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Preferred Experience-
• · Experience working in a retail, D2C, or e-commerce company.
• · Familiarity with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• · Basic understanding of payroll accounting and employee reimbursements.
