Role Description The Retail Assistant role at Brinka FMC is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Retail Assistant will support daily store operations, including assisting customers on the floor, answering product-related queries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include managing product displays, maintaining stock levels on shelves, handling basic sales transactions, and keeping the retail area clean, orderly, and compliant with company standards. The role also involves monitoring inventory, reporting low-stock items, and coordinating with the store team to meet sales and customer experience goals. The Retail Assistant is expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow established procedures to support smooth retail operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with diverse customers.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening in a retail environment.
• Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to understand product features, assist with upselling, and support store revenue targets.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale operations and cash handling, with attention to accuracy and reliability.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage physical tasks such as stocking and arranging merchandise, and follow safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or customer service is a plus.
