Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for an Electrical Design Engineer. The role includes creating accurate electrical designs, drafting and reviewing electrical schematics, collaborating with design and engineering teams, and ensuring safety standards and compliance. The Electrical Design Engineer will oversee power distribution designs, evaluate system functionalities, and assist in project execution while adhering to timelines and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings,
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load calculations layouts, and panel schedules.
• Prepare cable tray layouts, conduit routing, and wiring diagrams as per project specifications.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and client approvals.
• Prepare and maintain as-built electrical drawings after project completion.
• Assist project engineers with quantity take-offs and BOQ inputs from electrical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with IS standards, local authority norms, and project requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and records.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers to resolve electrical drawing-related issues.

Software & Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of electrical symbols, standards, and layouts

Qualification & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Draughtsman (Electrical)
• 25 years of experience in electrical drafting for building projects
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical projects preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Previous experience in MEP projects or construction industry is a plus
