Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems.
  
• Perform daily SAP system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning.
  
• Manage SAP transport landscape, transport requests, and change management.
  
• Execute SAP upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and system refresh activities.
  
• Handle SAP user administration, roles, and authorization management.
  
• Monitor SAP logs, troubleshoot system errors, and ensure high system availability.
  
• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server and Linux-based server environments.
  
• Perform routine server backups, restores, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
  
• Maintain server security, including firewall configuration, antivirus, and access control.
  
• Implement and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  
• Optimize server performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
  
• Administer database servers (HANA/Oracle/SQL) supporting SAP and other applications.
  
• Collaborate with network teams to ensure stable connectivity and infrastructure performance.
  
• Maintain complete documentation for server configurations, changes, and DR plans.
  
• Provide technical support for server-related issues and coordinate with vendors for resolutions.
