Senior Naval Architect

You will be responsible for designing mooring systems for ships and floating structures, performing Naval Architecture calculations using software like Bentleys Maxsurf, GHS, or DELFTship, and ensuring compliance with class/IMO/Flag rules and regulations. You should possess knowledge and experience in structural analysis, especially marine structures, and be proficient in scantling calculations using IRHull/NovaHull or DNV Poseidon software.

Experience in ANSYS or similar software for performing buckling and vibrational analysis is preferred. Familiarity with CFD software like Openfoam, FLUENT, or SHIPFLOW is a plus. In this role, you will liaise with clients, classification societies, vendors, shipyards, and other stakeholders, and should be willing to relocate on short notice as required.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate or master's degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in basic design projects for shipbuilding or offshore
• Good communication skills and customer-centric approach
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
