Inhouse Consultant SAP

Main responsibilities and tasks:

The SAP SD, CS & GTS Consultant / Solution Architect provides end-to-end functional and solution architecture leadership across order-to-cash, customer service and global trade processes. The role combines manufacturing-process knowledge, deep SAP SD, CS and GTS expertise, integration architecture, cloud and BTP capabilities, data migration, change leadership and stakeholder management to deliver scalable, compliant and business-aligned solutions.

• Own end-to-end SAP SD process design, including customer and material sales data, quotations, contracts, sales orders, pricing, availability, delivery, shipping, billing, returns,credit-related integration and intercompany processes.
• Own SAP CS process design, including installed-base and equipment-related service processes, service notifications and orders, repairs, spare-parts consumption, warranties, service contracts, resource and cost integration, confirmations and service billing.
• Own SAP GTS process design, including compliance management, sanctioned-party screening, embargo and export-control checks, customs processes, classification, preference and trade-document requirements, as applicable to the business landscape.
• Apply strong manufacturing business-process knowledge and connect sales, service and trade-compliance requirements with planning, procurement, production, quality, logistics, finance and warehouse processes.
• Understand MRP touchpoints relevant to SD and CS, including demand transfer, availability, requirements, make-to-order or service-parts planning, procurement proposals and fulfilment dependencies.
• Design and govern integrations between SAP SD, CS and GTS and third-party applications such as customer portals, CRM, logistics providers, trade-content providers, customs authorities, tax or compliance platforms and document services.
• Own relevant SAP landscape architecture, including applications, environments, interfaces, data flows, security, availability, performance and lifecycle dependencies.
• Guide SAP Business Technology Platform adoption for integration, extension, workflow, data, analytics and document or event-driven use cases aligned with enterprise standards and clean-core principles.
• Identify practical AI opportunities across sales, service and trade processes, ensuring responsible, secure and value-driven adoption.
• Lead or support SAP implementations in Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud environments and contribute to fit-to-standard, design authority and solution governance.
• Lead SD, CS and GTS data-migration activities, including object inventory, mapping, cleansing, transformation, mock loads, reconciliation, cutover, validation and hypercare.
• Apply structured change management covering stakeholder alignment, communication, training, adoption, business readiness and resistance management.
• Apply ITIL practices across incident, problem, change, release, service-level and continual-improvement processes.
• Understand hyperscaler concepts relevant to SAP workloads, including connectivity, identity, security, resilience, monitoring, scalability and cost awareness.
• Lead and coach team members and delivery partners; coordinate priorities, quality, risks, knowledge transfer and commitments across projects, enhancements and support.
• Build trusted relationships with business process owners, key users, Group IT, Enterprise Architecture, vendors and senior stakeholders.
• Prepare clear process and architecture documents, decision papers, roadmaps, business cases, status reports and executive-quality PowerPoint presentations.
• Apply strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills to identify root causes, evaluate options, assess risks and drive topics to closure.

Education, Experience and Languages:

• B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
• 9-10 years of relevant SAP experience, with strong hands-on expertise across SAP SD, CS and GTS.
• Strong manufacturing business-process knowledge and module-wise understanding of SAP SD, CS and GTS business processes.

  Get Hired
  At least two end-to-end SAP implementation experiences in ECC and Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud model with meaningful responsibility across design, configuration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• At least two SAP application-support experiences covering incident resolution, problem management, enhancements, releases and business continuity.
• Demonstrated experience with third-party integrations, SAP landscapes, BTP, AI use cases, change management, MRP dependencies and SD, CS and GTS data migration.
• Experience working on SAP implementation in a Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud model.
• Practical understanding of at least one hyperscaler environment and its relevance to SAP solutions.
• ITIL certification and demonstrated application of service-management principles.
• Proven team-management and stakeholder-management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, analytical thinking and PowerPoint storytelling skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent formal project-management certification.
• SAP Activate Methodology certification.
• Relevant SAP SD, CS, GTS, S/4HANA, BTP, cloud architecture or hyperscaler certification.
• Experience with S/4HANA transformation, RISE with SAP, clean-core principles, trade-compliance modernization and application rationalization.
