Job Description
- As a member of the Digital Media Solutions (DMS) team at Editage, your role involves working with scientists, universities, organizations, societies, and publishers to visualize and disseminate their work. Through content writing and design services, you will be responsible for converting complex scientific ideas into engaging content and visuals tailored to different audiences. Your marketing efforts will include creating tailored promotion and distribution strategies to enhance researchers" and organizations" media presence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Content delivery:**
- Collaborate with writers to create engaging scripts and storyboards for various collateral such as infographics, brochures, and annual reports.
- Review outputs at different production stages (concepts, storyboards, wireframes, design drafts) to ensure alignment with customer brief.
- Take ownership of collateral end-to-end, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- **Feedback provision:**
- Offer effective and timely feedback to individuals involved in upstream processes leading to delivery.
- Provide feedback to new resources undergoing training to enhance their skills and deliver high-quality work.
- **Quality management:**
- Analyze client complaints to identify root causes and determine appropriate actions.
- Maintain high-quality standards in deliverables and aim for positive client feedback.
**Qualifications and Prerequisites:**
- Master's/Ph.D. degree in Physical Sciences with excellent English language skills.
- Experience in visual communication of science through mediums like posters, infographics, magazines, and videos.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams is advantageous.
**Content skills:**
- Ability to transform technical/scientific content into consumable and effective formats.
- Proficient in English language and grammar with keen attention to detail.

- Capable of working autonomously, managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating activities.
**Communication skills:**
- Skilled in providing written and verbal feedback to science communicators, writers, and reviewers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
**Customer focus:**
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to empathize and think from the customer's perspective while working on deliverables or implementing quality measures.
**Openness to learning:**
- Willingness to learn and upskill in a dynamic work environment.
