Finance Controller

Role Summary:

Captain Fresh is looking for a Finance Controller who will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This role includes managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, and will play a key role in the development and execution of the organizations financial strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.

• Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.



• Conduct regular reviews and updates of financial policies and procedures.

• Financial Analysis and Planning:

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Analyze financial performance and variances, providing recommendations for improvement.

  
  

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and career growth. Systems and Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

  Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with other departments to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions

  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or controller role.

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the ICAI - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
