Job Description
- To co-ordinate the work of all wards’ staffs with the concerned HOD & to bring any shortfall to his/ her attention.
- To prepare duty charts of departmental staff and forward to time office.
- To ensure that all leaves of the staff are controlled and recommended to HOD
for approval.
- To prepare a Daily Admission report.
- To supervise all discharge summaries and monitor discharge process & other documents related to patients.
- To collect patient feed back and interact with concerned department(s), particularly Guest Relations.
- To deal all the Internal matters under guidance of HOD & assist him/ her as necessary.
- To maintain the smooth functioning of the department.
- To maintain the staffs’ leaves up to date.
- To help the patient parties as and when required.
- To conduct departmental meetings once in a month.
- To be responsible for solving all internal grievances with the help of HOD.
- To assist the Asst.Manager – Patient Service as and when required.
- To prepare the duty Rosters of the Asst. Front Office, Telephone Operator, ward secretary under guidance of Asst. Manager – Patient Services.
- To perform any other jobs assigned by the superiors or as per the exigencies of work.
- To conduct bereavement counselling.
