Job Description
A physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical challenges, injuries, or disabilities to restore movement and manage pain.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Diagnose: Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and physical condition to identify the root cause of pain or dysfunction.
- Create Treatment Plans: Design customized rehabilitation programs using active exercises and passive therapies like manual manipulation or massage.
- Administer Care: Guide patients through stretches, strengthening exercises, and specialized equipment to aid recovery.
- Educate Patients: Teach patients and their families home-exercise strategies and injury-prevention techniques.
- Collaborate: Coordinate patient care with doctors and other medical professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
