• 4.0 To prepare the Radiopharmaceutical for the investigation. 
•  4.1 To see that the temperature in the room is brought down to 22-degree C. While performing investigations on patients.
•  4.2 To calibrate the instruments and respond to the commands.
• 4.3 To adjust the instrument according to the order of the appointments.
•  4.4 To call the patients according to the order of appointments.

 4.5 To request the patient to lie down on the table and ensure he / she is comfortable. To ensure That all patients has signed The consent form

 4.6 To ensure that all the equipments in the room are in proper working condition and attend to problems, if any immediately.

 4.7 To position the patient according to the area of investigation and to program the computer for investigation.

•  4.8 To inject the patient with the radio – pharmaceutical before starting the investigations.
•  4.9 To start the computer and microdot or together and on time.
•  4.10 Instruct the patient to come later in case of second investigation.
•  4.11To ensure privacy in case of a women patient and to ensure they are not pregnant.
•  4.12To process the study through the computer and hard the findings to the Consultants.
• 4.13 To follow strict radiation safety norms and report to RSO incase if any discrepancy immediately 
• 4.14 To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
• 4.15 To be aware of departments performance and objectives.
• 4.16 To carry out data collection/support in data collection.
• 4.17 To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.
• 4.18 To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
• 4.19 To ensure all the employees are trained/oriented about the quality systems of the department.

4.20 Preparing monthly duty roaster and approved by HOD and ensure the smooth working of the dept. in the absence of HOD. To ensure availability of adequate manpower in the department according to the shift schedule.

4.21 To ensure safety of the patient undergoing tests in the department.

4.22 To ensure upkeep of the machines and proper handling of the machine in the department.

4.23 To monitor the work of technicians in the department and conduct training regarding safety of the patients and safe handling of machines.

4.24 To provide require MIS on time in full and or any other information in specified format designed for specific purpose.
