Assistant Manager – People Analytics & AI

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – People Analytics & AI who can go beyond dashboards and reports to uncover insights, automate HR processes and build smarter ways of working across the employee lifecycle.

This role sits at the intersection of HR, Analytics, Technology and AI. You will work closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to turn people data into meaningful business decisions—and identify opportunities where AI and automation can fundamentally improve how HR operates.

What You'll Own

People Analytics & Insights

• Build and own people analytics dashboards covering headcount, attrition, hiring, retention, productivity, compensation, employee movement and workforce trends.

• Move HR reporting from descriptive MIS to diagnostic and predictive analytics.

• Identify trends, patterns and correlations in workforce data and translate them into actionable recommendations.

• Develop executive-level dashboards and insights for HR leadership and business leaders.

• Support workforce planning, talent reviews and strategic people decisions through data.

AI & HR Transformation

• Identify repetitive and manual HR processes that can be automated using AI, GenAI and workflow automation.

• Experiment with emerging AI tools and identify practical use cases across HR.

• Build AI-powered solutions for areas such as HR reporting, employee insights, recruitment analytics, talent intelligence, HR queries and process automation.

• Partner with HR teams to move from traditional processes to AI-assisted ways of working.

• Create simple, scalable solutions that enable HR teams to become more data- and technology-driven.

Analytics & Automation

• Automate recurring HR reports and eliminate manual data consolidation wherever possible.

• Build dashboards using Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools.

• Work with HRMS and other people systems to improve data quality, reporting and analytics capabilities.

• Develop data models and reporting frameworks that provide a single source of truth for people data.

• Where relevant, leverage SQL, Python or other analytical tools to solve complex people-data problems.

Business Partnership

• Work closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Finance and business leaders.

• Present insights in a simple, compelling manner that enables leaders to take action.

• Support strategic HR projects through quantitative analysis and business intelligence.

What We're Looking For

• 4–7 years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, Workforce Analytics or a related field.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel and Power BI.

• Strong understanding of HR metrics, workforce trends and employee lifecycle processes.

• Experience working with large and complex datasets and converting them into actionable insights.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a business-oriented mindset.

• Exposure to SQL, Python/R or other analytics technologies is a strong advantage.

• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on interest in AI, GenAI, automation and emerging HR technologies.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to operate comfortably in a fast-paced, high-growth and ambiguous environment.
