Job Description

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Manager who can lead high-performing engineering teams while actively contributing to technical direction, architectural discussions, and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring high-quality software delivery while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
This role requires close collaboration with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications.
Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 820 engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, design, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers across the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and career development planning.
- Provide technical oversight for solutions built using Microsoft technology stack including .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, ReactJS, and SQL Server.
- Ensure adherence to software design patterns, architectural best practices, and clean code principles.
- Guide teams in building scalable, performant, and reliable systems.
- Drive database design, query optimization, and performance tuning initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects on system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Plan and execute development initiatives in alignment with product roadmap and business priorities.
- Ensure teams consistently deliver high-quality software within defined timelines.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable releases.
- Ensure engineering teams follow modern DevOps practices using AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Promote automation and operational excellence in build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Work with teams to optimize systems for availability, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions and deliver customer value.
- Translate product requirements into clear technical deliverables and execution plans.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Lead teams operating in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve engineering processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft technology stack including:
- C#, .NET Core
- Web APIs
- ReactJS
- SQL Server
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
