Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving end-to-end hiring across corporate functions and key business roles for Chai Point. Reporting to the Head – People & Culture, the role will focus on building strong talent pipelines, ensuring quality hires, and partnering with business leaders to meet current and future workforce requirements. This position requires a hands-on recruitment leader with strong stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

• Own end-to-end recruitment across functions including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and other corporate roles.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, and search partners.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and niche positions.
• Manage external recruitment agencies and drive efficiency in hiring metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and provide recruitment solutions
• Drive structured hiring processes, including job descriptions, competency mapping, and interview frameworks
• Track and report recruitment metrics including TAT, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness, and quality of hire
• Support leadership hiring mandates with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
• Strengthen employer branding initiatives and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.

Stakeholder Management & Analytics

• Collaborate closely with business leaders and HR teams to align hiring priorities with business goals
• Prepare and present hiring dashboards and talent insights to leadership
• Support workforce planning and headcount planning exercises in partnership with business teams
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and drive best practices across the organization

Requirements

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline
• 6–10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
• Strong experience in non-tech hiring is mandatory, with prior experience in sales hiring preferred
• Prior experience in F&B, Retail, QSR, FMCG, Consumer Brands, or other high-growth organizations will be an advantage
• Proven track record of managing mid-to-senior level hiring across multiple functions
• Strong sourcing expertise and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Excel, recruitment analytics, and HRMS reporting
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownershipship.
