Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Pune

We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a leading Heavy Engineering firm in Pune.

Location: Pune

Position: CFO

Function: Finance

Reporting to: Managing Director & CEO

Key Requirements:

• 25+ years of overall experience in Finance, with 5+ years in a CFO / senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering / Construction industry preferred.
• CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, Financial Strategy & Planning, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Cost Management & Efficiency, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Partnerships working capital, Stakeholder Communication & Investor Relations, cash flow and treasury management.
• Hands-on experience in banking, debt restructuring, refinancing, consortium management and capital raising.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management, taxation, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics.
• Exposure to digital finance transformation, BI dashboards, analytics and ERP optimisation will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and Board-level communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the companys financial strategy, EBITDA improvement and working capital optimisation.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships and funding requirements.
• Oversee cost control, CAPEX evaluation and financial risk management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Support the CEO and Board on business strategy, investments and growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop the Finance team.
• Support M&A, JV and strategic partnership evaluations and financial due diligence.
