Description:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expenses, and payments, contributing to the overall financial stability and success of Cint
Responsibilities:

• Process incoming vendor invoices, accurately matching them with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Verify the accuracy of invoice details, including pricing, quantities, and payment terms.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper expense allocation.
• 
  Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly fund request and payment files.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues; maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files, including contracts, W-9 forms, and communication records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting; support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable processes.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function and tax compliance procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/ equivalent & 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role is required.

Get Hired
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field & 2+ years of experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, environment.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze and resolve discrepancies.
