Job Description

The Senior Relationship Manager as Korea national desk in India is a senior-level position responsible for providing strategic coverage of Korean clients Indian subsidiaries with respect to their capital needs, Risk management across FX, rates & commodities (as applicable) and working capital optimization solutions in close co-ordination with the Korea Parent Account Manager (PAM) team and partners in Infdia Global networking banking team + product partners across Services, Markets & Investment bank teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Expand a portfolio of accounts with varying/complex financial needs with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality in line with Citis credit standards, policies, and processes
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as financing, streamlining of cash management operations, foreign currency solutions, etc.
  • Cross-sell banking products, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, loans (including syndicated, bilateral) and capital market products
  • Responsible for monitoring credit aspects of the relationship and flagging early warning signals to PAM + risk teams.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Korean language
  • Sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations affecting it and the lending and credit approval process
  • Experience with Korean companies, business issues, and language.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade finance, and securities services.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Masters degree preferred
