Business Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and evaluate RFPs to identify project needs, key client priorities, and potential delivery constraints; advise management on optimal technical solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, understand decision-making processes, and assess project requirements for effective service positioning.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients; address queries, explain technical aspects of services, and build strong client relationships to promote service adoption.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with sub-consultants, vendors, and suppliers to enhance the competitive value of project proposals.
• Participate in business intelligence and networking activities to identify targeted clients and gather insights on market trends, competitor offerings, and potential collaborations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project proposals meet client needs and align with regulatory and technical standards.
• Assist in developing project timelines, technical deliverables, and resource requirements for proposals, ensuring alignment with project budgets and client expectations.
• Generate technical reports and presentations summarizing research findings, project proposals, and potential areas for service expansion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (e.g., Biomedical, Civil, Mechanical), or a related field.
• 3 7 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral and written command of English and Arabic.
• Strong understanding of healthcare facility development, engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software for technical reporting and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent presentation skills.
• Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety standards in line with ISO 45001.
