Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Review of market study gathered information & tariffs increases proposal for THC & Local Charges and discuss with Management for further approvals.
- Ensure that proposed tariffs / any tariffs revenues / introductions of revenues are send to concerns for approvals & filings with FMC regulations (US Trade).
- Liaising with HO & Beirut Cost Control department and answering their queries related cost and revenue.
- Monitoring Inland Haulage cost sheet & obtain clarification as & when needed from Intermodal team.
- Review of monthly presentation of Local Revenue Per Teu & Cost Per Teu KPI.
- Ensure timely submission of Agility reporting on monthly basis.
- Ensure all vendor contracts are maintained & monitored, and any pending/missing contracts or tariffs are chased with the concerns timely.
- Ensure overhead cost or any abnormal cost analysis and also average cost included in THC are prepared on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Review of Unit Cost Review report performed for major variances & commentary detailed justifying these variances on monthly basis before submission to Regional Cost Control & Regional Office.
- Review & Supporting hand for cost analysis segregating as systematic & non-systematic for better visibility to focus on the controllable cost, analyze the issue & accordingly suggest the actions plans which needs to be monitored monthly.
- Adhoc analysis related to principal revenue & cost as & when requested by Management/Regional Office/Head office.
- Monitoring processes transferred to GBS and to ensure that said SLAs & KPI are achieved timely.
- Produce relevant data as & when requested by Internal/HO Group internal/statutory/Regional Cost Control audits related to revenue & cost.
- Project Management Providing supporting hand for any project deployed & need involvement of Cost Control.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ensure timely submission of necessary cost and savings reports to management and Head office.
- Liaising with India Management, Head office Cost Control, Regional Cost Control, Regional Office and Line management for cost and revenue related matters.
- Ensure timely submission & implementations of revised tariffs as & when revised.
- Ensure real time update of Vendor tariffs and all relevant cost sheets/workings.

Qualifications and Skill Sets:
- Leadership Quality
- Shipping experience preferred.
- Professional, Commerce graduate and having audit knowledge.
- Good analytical and presentation skills
- System Savvy and logical mind
- Pro-active, fast learner and good communication and managerial skills
- Should be able to manage changes.
