Job Purpose
Operations team leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities related to payment allocations, invoice acquisitions, loan document management, query resolution and reporting. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of transactions while guiding and supporting team members to meet departmental objectives and service standards
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily operational activities for India Operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and internal controls.
  • Ensure allocations of dealer payments, contract conversion and extension requests are completed within SLA.
  • Oversee accurate processing of loan documents within the system.
  • Manage invoice acquisition and related processing activities in line with company policies.
  • Respond to and resolve various operational requests from Commercial Lending and Sales teams in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve errors, discrepancies, and operational issues.
  • Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and quality standards; implement corrective actions where required.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards applicable to banking/NBFC operations.
  • Provide guidance, training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present operational MIS and performance reports to management.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in banking/NBFC operations.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a team leading or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience in contract servicing, invoice processing, loan document verification, and data entry activities.
  • Strong understanding of lending operations and payment processing workflows.
  • Bachelors degree in any discipline (Finance/Commerce preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with peers, sales teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
