We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial operations while supporting business growth.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple business functions in a dynamic technology company.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts.Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense claims.Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist with tax filings.Support external audits and provide required documentation.Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS).Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Zoho Books, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).Experience preparing financial reports and performing month-end close.Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis).Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Professional fluency in English.Preferred QualificationsProfessional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent (completed or in progress).Experience working in a technology, SaaS, AI, or high-growth startup environment.Experience supporting audits and financial compliance.Familiarity with automation tools and modern finance systems.What We're Looking ForStrong ownership mindset and accountability.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Collaborative team player with excellent organizational skills.Why Join CNTXT?Be part of one of the region's leading AI companies.Work alongside a high-performing and ambitious team.Exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and innovative products.Opportunity to grow your career in a rapidly scaling organization.Competitive salary and benefits package.Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
