HR Operations Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. The role requires strong expertise in HR Operations, Payroll, Statutory Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, HR Analytics, and Process Governance while partnering with business leaders to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end HR Operations across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.

2. Manage payroll inputs, validations, and payroll coordination to ensure timely and accurate processing.

3. Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and other applicable regulations.

4. Possess strong conceptual knowledge of Compensation & Benefits, including salary structures, benchmarking, annual compensation reviews, and statutory calculations.

5. Maintain HR documentation, employee records, and compliance documentation with high accuracy.

6. Prepare HR MIS, dashboards, reports, and analytics using advanced Excel.

8. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and a seamless employee experience.

9. Support HR Operations for an employee base of approximately 800 employees.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.

2. MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.

3. 6+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance.

4. Experience handling HR Operations for a mid-to-large-sized organization is preferred.

Key / Mandatory Skills

1. 6+ years of HR Operations experience.

2. Strong knowledge of Payroll and Statutory Compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax, LWF).

3. Strong understanding of Compensation & Benefits concepts.

4. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reporting, dashboards, and data analysis).

5. Experience in HR MIS and HR Analytics.

6. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

7. High attention to detail with a strong process orientation.
