Financial Analyst Growth & Investments

Summary of Role

The role will support the group's expansion strategy by developing financial models, feasibility studies, and investment analyses for new opportunities and strategic initiatives. The role will be responsible for translating business concepts into robust financial evaluations, providing commercial insights, and supporting decision-making across investments, partnerships, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modelling expertise with commercial understanding, particularly within hospitality, F&B, or investment environments.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling & Feasibility Analysis: Build comprehensive, investment-ready financial models and feasibility studies for new concepts, venues, and business opportunities. Develop P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet projections incorporating hospitality-specific metrics such as revenue drivers, covers, average spend, seasonality, staffing ratios, and capital expenditure requirements. Create scenario analyses and identify key assumptions, risks, and areas requiring validation.
• Investment Analysis & Deal Structuring: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, partnerships, and expansion projects by assessing financial viability, returns, and commercial risks. Support analysis of different deal structures, including management contracts, revenue share agreements, franchise models, and joint ventures.
• Growth Pipeline & Business Support:
  
  Partner with the Business Development team to provide financial insights and commercial analysis for new opportunities. Support due diligence activities, review financial information, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Legal, and HR to gather inputs required for feasibility assessments.
• Investor Reporting & Presentation Development: Prepare investor presentations, financial reports, and performance updates to support leadership, investors, and external partners. Translate complex financial analysis into clear business insights and compelling narratives suitable for senior stakeholders.
• Commercial Advisory & Decision Support: Act as a finance partner for growth initiatives by identifying commercial risks, evaluating assumptions, and providing recommendations beyond financial reporting. Present findings and financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Portfolio & Model Management: Maintain and update financial models for existing concepts and portfolio companies, ensuring accuracy of forecasts, reporting, and financial analysis to support ongoing business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in financial modelling, investment analysis, corporate finance, or transaction advisory roles.

• Experience within one or more of the following environments: Big 4 Transaction Advisory/Deals, investment banking, private equity, family office, hospitality group, or F&B/real estate investment functions.
• Proven ability to independently build complex financial models, including multi-scenario P&L, cash flow, and investment analysis models.
• Strong understanding of hospitality and F&B financial economics, including revenue models, cost structures, capex requirements, staffing models, management fees, franchise structures, and unit economics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience developing financial models from scratch and analyzing complex business scenarios.
• Strong experience preparing investor-grade presentations and communicating financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify risks, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and Business Development teams.
• CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with franchise structures, joint ventures, management contracts, or hospitality expansion projects.
• Exposure to GCC/MENA hospitality markets and multi-brand group environments.
