Finance Operations Analyst

Company Description
ContiTech Business Hub Bangalore is part of ContiTech and houses various operations. The location is growing and needs a dedicated finance operations analyst to work with Finance manager/Finance Controller.
The business hub is expected to be around 200 in strength. ContiTech is a Euro 4Bn+ company specialized in to material driven solutions for many industries. Its part of Continental Group, going to be independent soon.

: Finance & Accounting assistant

• Role Purpose
  

To ensure accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, effective reporting, and support business profitability by maintaining transparent books, ensuring adherence to corporate governance guidelines, and supporting internal/external stakeholders.

• Key Responsibilities
• General Ledger & Fixed Assets
• Post and review journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform periodic account reconciliations and trial balance review.
• Manage fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation, and asset roll-forward reporting.
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Process supplier invoices and ensure 3-way match compliance.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and support GR/IR clearing.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and aged payable reviews.
• Coordinate payment runs, T&E reviews, and related reconciliations.
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
  
• Prepare customer invoices, credit/debit notes, and GST invoices.
• Conduct overdue follow-up, customer reconciliation, and cash application.
• Support dunning, write-off procedures, and AR-related audit activities.
• Compliance, Governance & Statutory Requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal corporate policies, tax laws, and IFRS/local GAAP standards.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and documentation archiving.
• Assist in statutory filings (e.g., VAT/GST returns, levy submissions).
• Budget and Forecasting, also managing Government Income Tax and GST audits
• Forex allocation, travel/expense reimbursement, invoice payments etc for Bangalore team
• Knowledge and experience of managing transfer pricing,
• Support custom clearance topics by working closely with vendors.
  

Qualifications

• Requirements
  

Key Skills

• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/local GAAP and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Experience Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in accounting/finance operations (GL/AP/AR)
• Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with internation stakeholders and with MNCs
• Sound knowledge and experience with Finance topics
• Working experience in global hub is a plus
• Qualifications
  

Education

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CA/Inter CA/CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
