Digital Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern with a strong foundation in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to join our marketing team. In this role, you will work hands-on with SEO tools, keyword strategies, on-page optimization, and digital growth tactics to boost our online visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using tools like Ubersuggest, Google Keyword Planner, or Ahrefs.
• Execute on-page SEO tasks, including meta titles, descriptions, image alt texts, and URL structure optimization.
• Help optimize website copy, blog posts, and landing pages to align with search intent.
• Perform basic site audits to identify technical SEO errors, broken links, and site speed issues.
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, and backlinks using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Support link-building initiatives, content distribution, and directory submissions.
• Assist the marketing team with basic social media posts and general content strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic SEO concepts (On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO fundamentals).
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ubersuggest, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console).
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and WordPress/CMS platforms.
• Good content writing, proofreading, and keyword placement skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet project timelines, and take feedback positively.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
