Job Description
EdTech company Crimson Education was founded in 2013 from the idea that through personalised education, we can transform students into the world leaders of tomorrow. Our network includes 2,400 tutors and consultants worldwide who work with over 20,000 students.
Our tech platform connects tutors and mentors to high school students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities in the US, Canada, UK, and beyond.
This is a remote, full-time position, based in India.
What are the main responsibilities for this role
- Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
- Identifying and interacting with new leads/customers
- Continuously improving sales techniques and industry knowledge
- Pitching and ideating new ways to connect with families
- Conducting sales consultations and academic assessments in a professional manner and that aligns with the Crimson brand and culture.
- Engaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, careers expos and Crimson seminars
- Researching potential organizations and markets for lead generation/partnerships
- Attending industry events where relevant and provide feedback and information on market trends
- Submitting fortnightly sales reports in an accurate and concise manner for management for accurate prediction of monthly sales pipelines and revenue projections
- A degree (either Undergraduate or Graduate) from a US university will be an added advantage
- Excellent previous sales track record
- Strong storytelling skill and experience public speaking
- Experience with higher education or a deep understanding of the college application process
- Interest in working with families and students to connect them to the best program
- An interest in changing the world through education!
- Comfort with video chat and speaking over the phone
- Experience working with Salesforce (preferred not a must)
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of the US/UK Undergrad application process
