Summary
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst, APAC plays a pivotal role in supporting Cushman & Wakefields Total Rewards strategy across the Asia Pacific region, reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Partner, APAC. This position is responsible for designing, managing, and evaluating employee compensation and benefits programsincluding health, retirement, and wellness initiativeswhile ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global priorities. The analyst conducts data-driven benchmarking and market research to enhance benefit offerings, manages vendor relationships, and supports annual performance and compensation reviews. Acting as a strategic partner within the People function, the role also contributes to policy updates, project-based analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to attract and retain top talent in a competitive landscape.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Partner, APAC, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst, APAC supports the full spectrum of Total Rewards and is responsible for researching, supporting the designing, and assist in managing an organizations employee compensation and benefits programs, Benefits administration, benchmarking, policy updates, tracking renewals, vendor management along with Performance & Reward functional processes and activities across the APAC region.
Acts as an integral part of People function, specializing in health benefits, retirement plans, and other compensation programs. Also, responsible for evaluating existing benefits and benchmarking them against industry standards to help create an attractive package for retaining and attracting new employees by making Cushman & Wakefield competitive. The job requires deep knowledge of state regulations governing employee benefits and the ability to interpret data on benefit usage, costs, and satisfaction.
Leveraging curiosity to analyze data and propose creative solutions, this role sets the foundation and support our complex growing business.
Principal Responsibilities

- Benefits Administration & Benchmarking:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data on employee benefit usage, cost trends, and market benchmarks to identify areas for improvement.
- Benefit Plan Design: Develop and recommend new benefit plans or modifications to existing plans, considering factors like cost, coverage options, and employee demographics.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with benefits providers like insurance companies and brokers.
- Compliance: Ensure that all benefit plans comply with relevant local regulations.
- Wellness initiatives: Collaborate with local People function to develop and promote employee wellness programs.
- Market research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging benefits options to identify innovative solutions for the company.
- Support the delivery of the Annual Performance and Compensation Reviews including the planning, implementation and administration of the annual processes.
- Support the day-to-day Total Rewards activities for the Asia Pacific business.
- Support the execution of Compensation & Benefits Strategy aligned with Asia Pacific and Global strategic priorities.
- Support ad-hoc project work and provide analysis to enhance the effectiveness of the overall HR function and business performance.
- Work closely and collaboratively with regional C&B team, HRBPs, HR Operations as required
- Data-driven with exceptional qualitative, analytical, and statistical skills to solve problems and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to work well under pressure, balance multiple priorities and produce results. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize varied complex projects and adapt to new situations.
- Proactive approach. Able to prioritize well with attention to detail and operates well in a changing environment.
- Exhibits integrity, professionalism, objectivity, and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent written, verbal and listening capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- 2 4 years experience as a Benefits Analyst (either in a finance field or Compensation & Benefits or HR Consulting).
- A bachelors degree in a related field (business, finance, or human resources);
- Experience in working at a fast-paced, multinational company.
- Hands on experience with HR Technology platforms to manage Compensation & Benefits, and reward activities including Excel, Workday and a variety of payroll platforms. Advanced proficiency with Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A capable and confident communicator.
- Strong data mining, analytical skills, and proficiency in use of spreadsheets required (from advanced data analysis to manipulation).
