Job Description
Project Manager
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives across the APAC and EMEA Central Operations platform. The role involves managing cross-regional projects, coordinating stakeholders, driving governance, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery and adoption of key business and technology initiatives.
About the Role:
Project and programme delivery
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned strategic initiatives across APAC and EMEA, from initiation and discovery through to go-live and handover into business-as-usual.
- Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, and resource views, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across concurrent workstreams.
- Manage complex technical delivery, translating between technical teams and the business so that architecture, data, and integration decisions are understood in terms of their business impact.
- Own RAID logs for assigned initiatives, actively managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies with clear owners, mitigations, and escalation routes.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams, technical developers, and third-party partners, ensuring accountabilities are clear and blockers are resolved at pace.
- Prepare and deliver steering committee packs, monthly status updates, and executive reporting in line with the Central Operations governance framework.
- Support senior responsible owners and product owners in running effective SteerCo and working group cadences, including agendas, minutes, decisions, and actions.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready programme documentation, ensuring decisions, change requests, and scope adjustments are logged and traceable.
- Track benefits and success measures for each initiative, reporting progress against agreed outcomes rather than activity alone.
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders across both regions, from delivery teams through to country heads and executive sponsors.
- Partner with change leads, communications teams, and business adoption owners to ensure initiatives land well, with readiness, training, and engagement planned alongside technical delivery rather than after it.
- Draft clear, well-structured communications supporting launches and change, including leadership briefings and general population announcements.
- Navigate cultural and time zone differences across APAC and EMEA, adapting working rhythms so both regions are genuinely served, not just consulted.
- Contribute to the maturing of the Central Operations delivery toolkit, including templates, trackers, and ways of working, sharing lessons learned across the portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate delivery processes, including the use of AI-enabled tools where appropriate.
About You:
- Five or more years of project management experience delivering technology, platform, data, or operational change initiatives, ideally in a matrixed, multi-regional environment.
- Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects with significant business impact, and partnering with change leads and business stakeholders to drive adoption of what is delivered.
- A track record of delivering projects through formal governance structures, including steering committees and executive reporting.
- Experience coordinating delivery across business, product, and technical teams; familiarity with platforms such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or modern data platforms is an advantage.
- Experience within commercial real estate, professional services, or another client-facing services business is desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel without losing grip on any of them.
- Strong written and verbal communication, producing concise, executive-ready materials in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to take a loosely defined brief and turn it into a structured plan with clear next steps.
- Confident challenging constructively, escalating early, and holding senior stakeholders to account on actions and decisions.
- A formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Hybrid working with flexibility to accommodate meetings across APAC and EMEA time zones.
- Occasional regional travel may be required to support key programme milestones and workshops.
