Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for US Health Insurance capabilities within InsureEdge.

• Translate business strategy and customer needs into product initiatives and measurable outcomes.

• Prioritize features based on customer value, market demand, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

• Identify opportunities for product innovation, automation, and operational efficiency.

Product Ownership

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring features are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for engineering teams.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Make product decisions balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial priorities.

Must Have Skill Set

Regulatory & Compliance

• Partner with compliance and legal teams to incorporate regulatory changes into the product roadmap.

• Support HIPAA-compliant workflows and secure handling of protected health information (PHI).

• Monitor regulatory changes affecting product functionality and customer requirements.

Customer & Market Engagement

• Engage with insurers, TPAs, brokers, employers, implementation teams, and customers to understand evolving market needs.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and emerging trends.

• Gather customer feedback and incorporate insights into product improvements.

US Health Insurance Domain

• Build and maintain capabilities supporting:

o Individual & Family Plans (ACA Marketplace)

o Employer Group Health

o Medicare Advantage & Medicare Supplement

o Medicaid Managed Care (where applicable)

o Dental, Vision, and Ancillary Benefits

• Ensure support for benefit plans, eligibility, enrollment, renewals, policy servicing, billing, and member lifecycle management.

• Drive product capabilities for plan configuration, benefit administration, provider networks, and digital servicing.

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:

o Commercial Health Insurance

o ACA Marketplace

o Employer Group Health Plans

o Medicare & Medicaid

o Health Plan Administration

o Member Enrollment & Eligibility

o Claims and Benefits Administration

o Provider Networks

o Premium Billing & Payments

o Digital Member and Broker Portals

o HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements

• Knowledge of standards such as EDI 834, 835, 837, and FHIR is highly desirable.
