Procurement Specialist

The Team -

Danske Bank IT tactical Procurement Team is responsible for procuring all IT related activities such as SaaS, Software, IT Services, Communications (telco solutions). The team consists of people with an international mind set and is located in Vilnius and Bangalore . It is a mix between experienced, senior professionals and young talents.

IT Procurement is expanding and we are looking for IT Procurement specialist for IT software purchases and contracts in our tactical team .

• Manage the IT sourcing projects and must be able to understand the business requirements and execute the procurement strategies


• Execution of tactical procurement related activities including, but not limited to market analysis, contract management & vendor analysis
  


• Work with various stakeholders from business units, IT, legal, and compliance for the execution of sourcing projects proactively.


• Deep understanding of IT categories (software, SaaS, telecommunication, hardware and IT services)


• Ability to challenge stakeholder requirements in a discrete business manner

Primary Responsibilities : -

• Execution of procurement activities in the bank for IT categories


• Proactively work on contracts that are nearing expiry with the business to have them executed on time


• Will be responsible to drive end to end activities which includes establishing sourcing, managing the Rfx, and conduct contractual and commercial negotiation


• Ability to understand contractual clauses, legal terms, compliance, risk clauses, commercial negotiations

• 3 - 5 years of experience:- (preferably IT software Procurement)


• Qualification – Graduate. Procurement domain certification would be added advantage


• Worked with global stakeholders, cross cultural teams with multinational companies


• Collaboration and Interpersonal skills


• Experienced in RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ, Reverse Auction) methodologies


• Strong Analytical skills


• Strong command over English language and eye for details, good communication skills


• Aware of multiple sources to validate prices/benchmarking apart from RFx


• Able to adapt to constant changes, proactive and works as a Team
