Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days Work From Office + 2 Days Work From Home)
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday
Shift Timings: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM IST

About the Role
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Strategist to take ownership of how Datastraw finds, evaluates and hires people.
This is not a traditional recruitment role where you simply receive a requirement, post a job and close a position. You'll be expected to build talent pipelines, solve hiring problems, improve our recruitment processes and find better ways to attract and evaluate talent.
Talent Acquisition is the primary focus, with exposure to People, HR, AI, automation and talent systems.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end recruitment across technical and non-technical roles.
- Build and continuously maintain a strong talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
- Source, screen and evaluate candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and improve candidate evaluation.
- Track recruitment pipelines, hiring MIS and conversion metrics.
- Support offers, joining formalities and onboarding.
- Identify bottlenecks in the hiring process and come up with practical solutions.
- Experiment with new sourcing channels, screening methods and candidate engagement approaches.
- Use ATS, HRMS, AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve hiring efficiency.
- Work with the Tech team to build better recruitment workflows and systems.
- Support broader People & HR initiatives as Datastraw grows.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is independent, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
You should:
- Have at least 1-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR or a similar role.
- Have hands-on experience with end-to-end hiring for technical and non-technical roles.
- Have experience with onboarding and joining formalities.
- Be comfortable using HRMS, Excel/Google Sheets and workplace productivity tools; ATS experience is a plus.
- Be organised and able to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
- Be curious about AI, technology, automation and process improvement.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is already figured out.
Most importantly, if something isn't working, you should be able to:
Identify the problem → think through the options → propose a solution → execute it → measure the result.
You don't need to know everything. But you should be willing to figure things out and take responsibility for the outcome.
Experience in a start-up, BPO, outsourcing, recruitment consultancy or high-volume hiring environment is an advantage.

As Datastraw grows, this role can expand beyond Talent Acquisition into Talent, People & Culture and internal talent systems.
