Credit Risk Analyst – Corporate Finance

What role you will play in team: Assess the creditworthiness of corporate entities, contributing to DBRS Morningstar's credit ratings.

What you will do: Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to determine credit risk.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze financial statements and other relevant data to assess the credit risk of corporate borrowers
• Conduct industry and macroeconomic research to identify key factors affecting credit risk
• Develop credit ratings and rating rationale for corporate entities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit rating methodologies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare credit reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with other analysts and senior management to ensure consistency and accuracy of credit ratings

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
